Quickie Addenum

A few things have come to mind, in no particularly relatable sequence, from general daily observations, past posts and well...random thoughts and rants.

1) When I was in LA, I meant to add that the nobody actor Skeet Ulrich (sp?) checked me out at the bar. Of course, he was probably scoping anyone or anything with a vagina, but I though it amusing. He's kind cute in person, but with a name like Skeet, all potential respect (if there ever was any) went out the window.

2) I've decided I loathe the following terms because I know when I am reading Missed Connections, the people using them are nerdy white boys who wear their baseball caps to the side.
"hit me up"
"holla"
"hit me back"
"baby"
"420"
and the all time trashy "MILF"

3) I was walking in the park the other day and it seemed like time slowed around me, the world for a moment was silent and still while I watched a few auburn leaves flutter to the ground from a massive tree and the light shimmered through the remaining leaves. I love the fall.

4) I booked a trip to the UK for late March next year. Trying to keep the travel momentum going. I wasn't a huge fan of London the one time I was there, but maybe this time will be different. A day trip to Stonehenge is a must. Little known fact about yours truly-when I was younger and without an organized religious belief system, I felt left out from the ritualistic order my friends practiced in their various religious systems and so I actually studied a bit on the druids and their practices. It didn't stick, but I gave it a shot. Still debating about which other country to visit. Germany and back to France are both options, but I think I'm going to go with Scotland.

Stay tuned. The annual post Halloween blog will be coming soon.

It takes a set

Halloween is approaching, which was the original inspiration for starting this blog two years ago. I've had a costume idea in the works for over a year now, but haven't found the balls to pull it off. I'd have to wear my skin-tight black body suit with nothing but some ammo and a long black wig, which doesn't leave much to the imagination. It's pretty absurd when you see what people wear on Halloween, all shame is out the window. So, maybe after a stiff drink or two I'll find the motivation. For those of you geezing enough to remember, The Baroness was the evil chick co-hort to the Cobra Commander team in GI Joe comics. She's awesome!
